2016-11-22 Whilst performing flight VS-19 from London Heathrow to San Francisco, with 155 people on board, the aircraft was at FL380 over the Labrador Sea approx 330nm north of Goose Bay in Canada when the crew received low oil quantity and low oil pressure for the number one engine. The crew decended to FL240 and reduced the thrust on the number one engine, this slowed the aircraft and then the crew took the decision to divert to Goose Bay after the oil level decreased further. The engine was then reduced to idle. the aircraft landed safely about 1hr 40 minutes after leaving FL380. It has been reported the issue was a fractured engine oil feed pipe.
